CAMP NEWS: Make Camp Aldersgate or Casowasco your destination for one of these exciting events coming up in the next few weeks.

Volunteer work groups are ongoing at Camp Aldersgate throughout the fall, winter, and spring to do work on the various facilities at the camp. Call 348-8833 for specific dates CAMPER CLUB: We have a very active camping pro-gram here at Rome First and, as most of you know, every one of these activities costs money. Our Camper Club provides an ongoing opportunity for individuals of all ages to save money for camping opportunities. Individuals can deposit money into personal accounts to help save for their camping experience. Money earned from odd jobs like babysitting, yard work, and the like; gift money from birthdays and holidays; etc. might be stashed away in an account for future camp use. Deposits into accounts can be made with Rich Quick, Camper Club treasurer. For more information, contact camping agent Debbie Weis.

Camp Club Reminder. Camp Clubs offer individuals of all ages the chance to save ahead to pay for any of the church camping opportunities we have available to us, from week long summer camps and weekend events sponsored by the Conference to retreats organized within our own congregation. Individual accounts can be opened or added to Sundays before Sunday School or after worship in the Children's Room on the main floor of the Education Building. The money will then be available when it is time to pay for camp. If you would like to join, stop by on Sunday morning to fill out an application and pick up a copy of the Camp Club guidelines.
